Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (Pernas) is an agency owned by the Minister of Finance Incorporated (MOF Inc.) with the mandate to lead the development of Malaysia’s franchise industry.

Pernas aims to develop the franchise industry while increasing the number of franchise entrepreneurs through its expertise in providing quality service and products.

Pernas plays a role in spearheading the growth of the country’s franchise industry in order to fulfill their goal of producing more franchise entrepreneurs in the business world. One of the main objectives of Pernas is to develop local products and market them abroad.

Pernas also provides guidance and special schemes for franchisors and franchisees and welcomes franchise partners to Malaysia.

Based at the Menara Pernas, Bangsar South City, Pernas also has five corridor offices which are the Pernas Eastern Regional Office, Pernas Northern Regional Office, Pernas Southern Regional Office, Pernas Sabah Regional Office, and Pernas Sarawak Regional Office which are ready to carry out their duty in producing more franchisors and franchisees of international level.
